This postcard is oriented vertically and has an off-white background. On all sides there is a thin tan border. In the upper center of the postcard is a cat wearing a red Santa Claus jacket and hat, each with white fur trim. There is a thin band tied around the cat's waist and its two front paws stick out of the sleeves of the coat. The cat is an orange/brown tabby with large teal eyes which look down towards its right paw. It has a bemused/angry expression on its face and its whiskers are seen on its cheeks and forehead. Its ears stick out from the hat and are turned toward each side and back slightly. It appears to have a slight smile on its face with the right corner of its mouth turning up more than the left. In its right paw it holds a small decorated Christmas tree. In its left paw it holds the neck of a green bag which goes over its shoulder. Behind the cat is a green faded background radiating out from behind it. Below the image of the cat it reads "With best Wishes for a Happy Christmas" where the "W" in "With" is inside a sketched piece of fabric hanging from a small horn. From this fabric extends three pieces of ribbon: one which goes off to the left side of the card, one which is short and nearly reaches the "f" in "for," and a third which is long and tangles itself in the "H" of "Happy" and the "C" in "Christmas." Under this is printed "From" and someone has handwritten "Percy Jo Arthur" onto the dotted line.
The main scene of the postcard features a mother and daughter waving out their window to Father Christmas. The mother is dressed in a blue gown with white frills. The daughter is dressed in a pink gown with a bow. Above them is an arrangement of holly and bells. To their left, a calico cat is curled on a green and white footstool. The mother and daughter are reaching for the window, through which Father Christmas is visible. He is dressed in green, carrying a tree on his back and a lantern in his right hand, The bottom of the card reads "A Merry Christmas".

In the foreground, a mother and daughter are performing a piece of music. The mother, dressed in a pink gown and white apron, plays piano from sheet music. The daughter stands to the right, dressed in a white gown with pink ribbon and holding a red songbook. A calico cat is at her feet. To the right is a wooden bench with another open book on top of it. Above them is a holly and bells arrangement. Behind and to their left is a window, through which gazes Father Christmas. He is dressed in brown, carrying a blonde-haired doll in his right arm, and has a tree on his back. The card reads "A merry Christmas" at the bottom.
Father Christmas is dressed in a long red coat with white fur trim. He has a brown sack of toys on his back, dolls at his belt, and toys in his hands as he emerges, slightly crouched, from a tall gray fireplace. A white cat peers around the edge of the fireplace, which is decorated with holly, a mantel clock, and a picture frame. "A Happy Christmas To You" is printed along the bottom of the card.
Santa Claus is standing in front of an evergreen tree, dressed in a red suit. He has a large sack of toys, partially open, in his left hand and it rests on the ground. With his right hand he is petting a white cat that has a purple bow around its neck. "A Merry Christmas To You" is printed along the bottom of the card.
Santa Claus is dressed in his traditional red suit. He holds a blue stocking in his left hand as he put a candy cane into it. The stocking already holds a doll and sprig of holly. On the ground is his bag of toys, including a house, ball, cat and more holly. "Christmas Cheer" is the name of the poem at the bottom of the card. It reads: "Santa Claus is a jolly old chap / And he's busy all the year, / Getting ready with his Christmas gifts / To add to the children's cheer."
The words "Birthday Greetings" are printed in the upper right corner. The rest of the card features a white-woven basket of cats and flowers. The flowers are pink roses and a smaller blue/purple flower. Two cats, a brown and white one and a yellow and brown one, are in the basket. A white and brown kitten stands outside of it.
The horizontal card has the message "Birthday Greetings" in the upper right corner and a scene of cats playing in a basket as the central focus. One cat is in the basket along with purple flowers and an envelope; the other sits outside of it.
