In the center of an open room, a man and woman appear to be beginning a dance. Both are dressed in a French style; the man on the right has a long coat with tights and pointed shoes. The woman wears a long white and green dress with a bustle. The man is bowing to the woman with one arm outstretched, and the woman is coyly refusing. "A Christmas Greeting" is printed at the top and "The only way!" at the bottom.

Santa Claus
The card is drawn in a cartoonish style. In the center is a disproportionately large Santa Claus in a red coat with black trim. He holds a placard which reads "My Best Wishes for a Merry Christmas." Five children have joined hands and are dancing in a circle around his legs; their heads only reach his knees. There are two boys and three girls, all blonde or brunette and dressed in bright colors like green, blue, and yellow as well as black.

Inside a white room, three girls hold hands and dance around a decorated Christmas tree standing in a pot. In the upper part of the card's background is a window with yellow and green curtains, through which Santa Claus watches them. Outside it is night and snow covers the trees and house. Across the top "Christmas" is printed in red. Bold blue words across the rest of the card read "With the seasons greetings."
