Christmas Postcards
Santa Claus
Description
An account of the resource
The card depicts a very busy scene. In the center is an ornate fireplace with four stockings and a mantel clock, surrounded by a holly wreath. Santa Claus in red with a tree and bag of toys on his back leans over and looks in the fireplace from the right side. At the bottom of the card are three dogs; one, panting, looks up at Santa while the other two look out at the viewer. They are strapped to a sleigh, which is situated above the holly and fireplace. "A Joyous Christmas-Tide" is printed in the upper left corner.
