The card's scene is a photograph of a mother and five children, all girls, meeting Santa Claus and receiving gifts. Two of the children and the mother are standing, and the other three are seated at a table by a Christmas tree. Santa is dressed in a suit and has a long white beard and tall white hat. Printed in the right margin (roughly) is 'Zrulou pracujicich radostne vanoce' which seems to be a Merry Christmas greeting in Slovak.

Christmas Postcards
Father Christmas
Description
An account of the resource
The card is very busy and colorful. It depicts the living room of a house, packed with children and toys. In the back left, Father Christmas in a hooded brown coat dumps a bag of fruit and various toys into the room; they trail down the side of the card and include apples, dolls, and a paint palette among other items. In the back right of the card is a small decorated Christmas tree on top of a table. Next to it, a mother holds a baby who is putting an ornament on a tree. In the center of the card, three children read on a large red chair, and two girls play at its foot. Printed in the bottom left are the words "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Compliments of H. N. Harbach, 807 Filbert St., Phila."
