His coat and hat are trimmed with white fur to match his bushy beard. Behind him is a staircase, on which a young girl with gold hair and a white nightgown watches Santa Claus with a large grin. Framing the right side of the stairs is a branch of holly, and the bottom of the image reads, "A happy Christmas."
