Title

Black Santa Postcard

Description

This postcard is oriented vertically and has a thin gold, holly leaves, and holly berries border around all sides. In the center of the postcard, the background is a pale, robin's egg blue color. Standing in the center of the postcard is an African-American Santa Claus. His back is turned towards the right side of the postcard. He wears a long red robe with white fur trim, and a matching red and fur trimmed hat with red tassels hanging from the end. His long white hair, mustache and beard are visible as he smiles an open-lipped smile at the viewer. His head is tipped to his left as he looks out at the viewer. His left hand is placed on his left hip, while his right hand is held out in front of him at shoulder level. In his right hand he holds an unrolled, long piece of parchment. On the parchment in red, blue, green, and black elegant script, it reads "Proclamation Christmas Cheer to all of you." The parchment is lined by a dark gold glitter border, as is Santa Claus' figure (some of this glitter covers his face). At the bottom right corner of the parchment (seen on the left side for the viewer) there is a small tail of red ribbon with a red wax seal with a white holly leaf and three holly berries inside the seal.
