Description

Holding a small bottle in one hand, a man is pouring liquid from the bottle into a large glass container. On a workbench in front of the man are many small glass bottles. Behind the man may be seen shelves partially covered with cloth curtains. A variety of glass bottles filled with different flavors of "McFadden's Extracts" are on the shelves. Different sizes of glass funnels are stored on the top shelf. A large wooden barrel is visible on the right side of the image. The number “66” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “2” is written in the upper left corner.

The original glass plate negative was lost. A gelatin silver print created in the 1970s remains.
