[Three men working at the Dubuque Advertising Company in the Bank & Insurance Building]

Three men are working in a studio at the Dubuque Advertising Company, rooms 421-423 of the B & I Building. The man at center is seated at an easel working on a poster for the Dubuque Mattress Factory. A second man is standing behind him, and is working at a table. The third man is sitting at a large table at left. Several ads are pinned to the walls of the room, including one for "Old Honey Smoking Tobacco, Myers, Cox & Co., Dubuque, Iowa." Two cartoons for Cooper Wagons are pinned to a board in the foreground at right. A June, 1912 calendar hangs on the wall at left. The number “81” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “3” has been written in the upper left corner.
