[Off Balanced Train Car on Bridge of Cat Fish Creek]

Title

[Off Balanced Train Car on Bridge of Cat Fish Creek]

Creator

Hoffman, Peter B.

Description

A metal framed train bridge over a creek stands in the middle of the photograph. On the left leg of the train bridge is a sign that reads "Cat Fish Creek" and on the right leg has a sign that reads "W: 186-5". The bridge has lattice type design that goes across the top, connecting the two legs and two sides of the bridge. There is a train car that is on the bridge and it is off balanced, leaning to the right. On the frame of the train car is, "MINN DIV". The ground leading up the the bridge, in the foreground of the picture has a train track with dirt in the middle and on either side of the tracks. The bridge "road" has the tracks continuing and wood supports that appear to be broken. There is a man standing to the left of the train car wearing a heavy coat and heavy pants, boots, gloves, and a hat. There is a younger man, possibly a boy, standing to the left of him wearing a hat, coat, and gloves. This appears to be in the winter with snow and ice in the background of the photo. Two men stand in the doorway of the train car who are wearing hats, gloves, long coats, and boots.
