Description

Building on the corner of two streets. This may be a vocational high school located at 1200 Clay St. (now Central Ave.) on the corner of 12th street. The main building in the photograph is across the street from another building with a sign hanging off the wall that says, "Rath's Sugar Cured Meats". Rath's business was located on the corners of Clay Street (now Central Ave.) and 12th Street. The main building in focus is a tall three story building made of brick. The five large windows on the third floor are tall and arched at the top. There appears to be a pole that continues off the photograph, upwards. There are two small pieces of paper on the pillars in the front that say, "Night Class". There is a street light to the right of the building hanging over the street, a large tree with no leaves, and an electrical pole on the sidewalk to the right of the building. The street appears to be a brick road covered with dirt where tire or wheel marks can still be seen.
