[Farmhouse at base of Hill]

A white farmhouse sits on the left side of the photograph. There is a barn behind the house, and what appears to be a small shed. There is a large pile of wood next to the house, where a man is leaning on, and looking at a young girl, who is standing by the house. A large hill sits behind the house where a large rock outcropping sits atop. There is a fence in front of the house and the ground appears to have been tilled and there are a few remnants of plants. To the right is a telegraph or telephone pole with lines going towards the photographer. Behind the pole and on the other side of the fence is three identical houses that are raised above the ground. The hill is still behind these houses as well. All of the trees are leafless.
