[Paddle Wheel Steamboat on Mississippi River]

A paddle wheel steamboat is driving away from the photographer and creating waves. The stern of the boat has a large paddle that is propelling the steamboat forward. Above the paddle wheel is a sign that reads, "Eclipse, Le Claire Port, Rock Island." The pilot house sits on top of the boat and there is one man standing with his hand on his hip, looking out the window. Two smokestacks rise above and behind the pilot house. Individuals stand on the first and second floors of the side of the boat.
