Creator

Description
The photographer is standing on the opposite side of the scene at Dun-sur-Meuse on the Argonne Front during World War I. The photographer is on the other side of water appears to be a creek or river that has a slight incline towards the right side where the water falls at an angle. On the other side pff the river is the town of Dun-sur-Meuse. Buildings sit on the left and right and have holes in them, some have non roofs, others just have walls left over. There are rocks and pieces of buildings that are strewn all over the ground. These buildings sit at the base of a hill. On the top of he hill are more buildings that are in the same condition as the buildings at the base of the hill. The hill has trees, grass, and rocks on it and some areas appear to be darker from an apparent artillery strike. There is a possible church at the top of the hill that overlooks the river and surrounding area below.
