The building is now a Bed &amp; Breakfast called the Mandolin Inn.]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[There are four main houses along 1st Street. The house on the right of the photograph is on the corner of 1st and Locust Street. That house is a two-story dark brick home with a covered front porch that is facing 1st Street.  There is a telephone/telegraph pole in front of the house along the sidewalk. Across the street, is a fire hydrant. To the left of this house is a lighter colored, two-story house. There is also a covered front porch facing 1st Street and the lower part of the house is made up of a type of stone, and the top portion of the house is a lighter color. Behind this house and the next house is the steeple of the Cathedral of St. Raphael. The next house to the left is also a  rougher looking stone house and is lighter in color. There is a covered front porch and two smaller windows above the porch that could be a second story or an attic. There is another telephone/telegraph pole in front of this house. The next house to the left is made of the same rough stones and appears to be just one story. There are houses in the back of the picture and to the left that are up on the bluff]]></dcterms:description>

The second building has a ladder starting at the second floor and extending upward for a fire escape.
