Christmas Postcards
Description
An account of the resource
The upper part of the card shows Jesus in white and gold with a halo teaching the 12 apostles. The lower half is separated from it by the words "Evtes docete omnes gentes" which is loosely translated as 'teach all nations'. The lower card depicts a columned building, perhaps St. Peter's church or the papal residence, with golden rays of light shooting out from it. "Anno Santo MCMXXV" or 'Holy Year 1925' is printed beneath it. To the left is a gold medallion with a pope's figure in profile, labelled "Pius XI Pontmax." To the right is a gold medallion depicting a door and "Porta Santa", or 'holy door.'
