The track on the bottom of the tank that helps it move through the mud is facing upwards in the air. On the left side, the track is bent upwards and is separated from the rest of the tank. In the middle it is separated again and arched high in the air. There is a German Iron Cross on the left side of the upturned tank. There is also an opening towards the middle where a dead body is lying. The body is faced downwards with the legs in the ground that is split and the rest of the body inside of the tank.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[General Ferdinand Foch, the French General and war theorist, who served as the Supreme Allied Commander during World War I is standing on the left and looking towards the left with his hands coming together in front of him. He appears to have a smile on his face that is hidden by a mustache. He is in full uniform with his cap on and is jacket buttoned all the way. Standing behind him is a soldier who is standing and facing the left side. He is standing next to a door up two stairs. The door appears to be open and the soldier has his hands at his side with his cap leaning towards the right side of his head. Next to Foch is General Pershing, the Commander of the American Expeditionary Forces during World War I. He is wearing his full uniform as well and he is facing the left side of the photograph with only his profile visible. He has short, light hair that is mostly covered by his hat. There also appear to be people inside the building next to the open door, where there are glass windows. The stairs leading up to the building appear to be marble or granite. Towards the right are slightly taller crosses with squares in the center. The squares may have the names of those who are deceased. Behind the cemetery are the remains of war torn buildings that do not have any roofs and much of the walls are completely gone.  There are also wooden planks that are set up against the walls of the war torn buildings. The ground of the cemetery seems to be charred and a darker color than the rest of the ground.  ]]></dcterms:description>

    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[A German machine gun employment area in the woods around the time of the St. Mihiel Front during the first World War. There is a German trench in the foreground that extends back and forks into two possible ways. To the right is a covered area that extends back into a bunker. The right side also goes back farther and then goes into the bunker, underneath the ground. On top of the trenches is a circular building made of presumably concrete. There are leaves covering the entire area and trees. There is a small square hole in the circular building that is facing the photographer. A narrow pipe of sorts is coming out of the window and resting on the bottom of the window. The pipe then goes down the ground and into the right side of the trench and into the bunker. There is also a possible fencing or netting that goes over the trench and bunker.]]></dcterms:description>
