    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This postcard is oriented horizontally and has a white and pale blue background as the nighttime sky, complete with a crescent moon. In the bottom left corner, extending nearly to the upper left corner and to the bottom right corner is a border of dark green holly leaves, stems, and red holly berries. On the left side of the card is a red brick chimney covered around all sides of the upper opening with white snow and ice hanging over the sides. A pale red bird with large, boggling eyes is seen to be wearing a red Santa Claus coat and hat, each with black fur trim.. The bird wears a large white beard hanging to its chest and its large eyes look down into the chimney it is climbing into while standing on a snow covered roof. Its large yellow beak hangings slightly open. Over its left shoulder is a pale grey bag full of toys . Its right leg is still behind it and it wears a black boot which is on the roof, and its leg is seen as a dotted black line. In the distance behind the bird Santa are two evergreen trees, with dark green tops and paler green bottoms. Directly above the tops of the trees is a yellow crescent moon, near to which it reads in red script: &quot;Peters Weatherbird,&quot; and under this reads in black script: &quot;School Shoes, Solid Leather~Strongly Put Together.&quot; Over the chimney, where it connects with the house, is a sideways red diamond with a thin white border, serving as the &quot;Peters Shoes Co&#039;s Diamond Brand St. Louis&quot; logo. To the right of this, drawn over the snow covered rooftop it reads in black script, &quot;A Practical Xmas Present.&quot; In the bottom right corner, is a drawing of two sleeping pale red birds with large yellow beaks. They each have a white pillow under their head and share a bed and blankets. Their feathered fingertips clutch at a white sheet, pulling it to their chins. A grey and red striped blanket lies over top. The blanket has two sets of three thin red stripes, each near a bird. Small eyelashes and eyebrows are seen on the faces of the sleeping birds.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This postcard is oriented is oriented vertically and has a solid white background, except for the shadow of the center figure. This figure wears a red Santa Claus coat, hat, and pants with large black boots. Each of these items is trimmed with white fur, and he wears white gloves on his hands. The man dressed as Santa Claus has squinting eyes and dark brown hair poking out from under the hat. His nose is bright red and his lips are spread in a wide, closed-mouth smile. Out of his mouth, on his right side protrudes a cigar. In his left hand he holds a Santa Claus mask with a white mustache and beard slightly away from his face. His left arm is extended out along his side and his hand is open, fingertips reaching toward the ground. The red coat is open and his larger middle is seen, covered by a white shirt. Across his middle is a white scarf with pale pink tassels and he walks into it to keep it against his body. Out of each of the coat pockets, a brown bottle of some form of liquor protrudes and loose bills and coins fall out of his pockets toward the ground. His left leg is extended out in front of him as he marches forward.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This postcard is oriented horizontally in a snowy and hilly landscape. In the upper right corner is a snow covered village. Sledding on a long, low, and wooden sled away from this village down a steep snowy hillside are five nearly identical figures looking like Father Christmas. From the front of the sled working toward the back they are wear robes colored red, orange, blue, green, and orange. They each have hoods over their heads and have long, straight white beards and mustaches and look toward the viewer, all without an expression on their faces. The four figures behind the lead have their left arm up on their shoulder for support, while the lead figure has his left hand down on a lever near the bottom of the sled. Packages can be seen to be falling from this sled on the right side of the card on the hill top as they sled past. The figures hold assorted small trees, packages, and toys. On the right side of the postcard on the hilltop are snow covered small evergreen trees, while similar trees can be seen on the left side of the postcard in the foreground, and as a line farther in the distance on a different hill.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This postcard is oriented vertically and has a brown border around all sides. Inside this brown border are alternating white shapes of a bell and a Star of David. Inside this border is an elf holding a smiling piglet and facing a smiling full-grown pig. In the upper left corner of the postcard, built into the wooden planked wall of the building that the figures are in is a window made of nine panes. A blue sky is seen outside of the window and sunlight shines through. On the left side of the card, in the foreground of the window, is a full-grown pig with its two front legs and hooves hooked through a wooden fence. The pig looks at the elf with a sort of smile on its face. In front of the pig sits a steaming pale of some liquid. The pale is a dark green with a grey handle and two grey stripes around its circumference. The pig stands on thick piles of bright gold straw which pokes out from under the wooden fence. On the right side of the card stands an elf wearing a red cap with a long tail with a fuzzy end. The elf has a long white beard and hair and smiles at the full grown pig. In this arms he holds a smiling piglet. His hands are uncovered and he wears a red coat. His pants are an emerald green and he wears golden boots with pointed toes.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This postcard is oriented vertically and has a white border around all sides, with the thickest part of the border visible at the bottom side. Inside this white frame is an image of a young pig inside a wooden building with a large open doorway. The building has wooden panels in the wall running vertically and the floor is covered in a dark tan colored straw. The open doorway is built into the wall and the entrance has a step up as it is cut out of the wall. The pig stands with its front two hooves on top of this step and looks out the doorway to the snowy scene. Walking in the snow down a hill is a short elf carrying a red bowl of something steaming hot. The elf faces the pig and wears a red hat with a long, rounded point sticking up. He has a white beard and white hair and wears a green coat which flairs at the waist. His pants are tan are tucked into the ends of his red socks. He wears brown shoes with a golden square buckle on the top. Behind him in the distance is a partially visible home--only the roof and upper portion can be seen--which is a tan color with a chimney. Evergreen trees stand tall around the house. In the bottom left corner of the image, the name &quot;Max Hanel&quot; is scripted. Over the top part of the doorway, a red stamp reads &quot;GOD JUL!&quot; and black cursive script was written under this, but is illegible.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[This postcard is oriented vertically and has a thin white border on all sides. Inside this border is another frame made of a tan background. This is then framed by a blue/green/grey straight line border on the left and right sides of the postcard with an arched frame on the top and no border on the bottom. Inside this blue/green/grey frame is a wave-like black line with spiked lines intermittently placed along it. In the upper left and right corners are circles with a white smiling hog head facing the other. The centerpiece of this postcard is of an older bearded man sitting on a tall rock wall and holding a swaddled child. The man wears a furry domed hat with a golden crown around the dome of the hat. He wears a floor-length red coat with fur lining and fur cuffs, and grey gloves. On his face is a pair of bifocals placed on the tip of his nose and he looks down at a smiling child swaddled in his arms on his lap. The infant is smiling with an open mouth and has golden curly hair on his head. His left hand is visible outside of the tight white cloth wrapped around him, and it appears that his right hand is holding a brimming and frothing stein filled with beer. The white cloth around the infant has criss-crossed red borders around it. The old man&#039;s shoes are visible under his robe and are red and white checked. To his left, imprinted on the rock wall that he sits on is &quot;DK&quot; circled. Below his feet over the rock wall is a white scroll that reads &quot;Frohes Neujahr&quot; in red script. In the background, behind the man, is a mountain range with a radiant sunrise or sunset and a white sun peeking out behind the mountains, behind the infant&#039;s head. Objects of importance would consist of St. Nicholas has fruit in one hand and a staff in another. There are two girls and four boys and two boys are fighting each other behind both St. Nicholas and Krampus. There is a boy hiding behind a boot and a girl is holding a baby doll.
