    <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Dr. Mullin is standing beside a patient who is seated in a dentist chair. The chair is positioned in a corner of the room near windows so that maximum natural light will fall on the patient&#039;s face. A tall chest is partially visible behind the dentist. An electric fan has been placed on the floor close to the dental chair. “Dr. Mullin, Dentist “ has been stenciled on one of the windows. All of the windows are covered with white privacy curtains. The walls are covered in two patterns of brocade wall paper. Near one of the windows is a bust of a classical figure. A June calendar hangs on a wall between two windows. The number “73” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. Limestone rocks have been piled above and around the entrance to form the outer wall of the kiln. The structure appears to have been abandoned.     <dcterms:description><![CDATA[Built in 1857 at a cost of $20,000, this house was the home of Henry L. Stout. In 1984, an auditorium was built, and the home was donated to the Y.M.C.A. A sign reading “Y.M.C.A.” hangs from the second story of the smaller building in the image. A four wheel wagon with an umbrella sun shade is proceeding along the street. A man is crossing the street, and a fire hydrant is visible protruding from the sidewalk. See LO 075 for an image of the &quot;new&quot; Y.M.C.A. building. Cracks in the original glass lantern slide are visible along the left side of the image. The number 1266 is written on a label that has been stuck to the lower left corner of the slide.]]></dcterms:description>
