Around all sides is a lined design and inside of the edging on each of the four corners is a marking like that from a staple or something which punctured it and left a black mark. The top left of the card reads "Merry Christmas" and shows the imprint of a holly branch with leaves and three holly berries. Intermixed with the berries is a Santa Claus face with a cap and a long beard. There is a slight green and red hue to this imprint on the postcard.
