Description

Thirteen men are working in this large office at the Dubuque Fire & Marine Insurance Company, rooms 710 to 715 in the B & I Building. Most of the men are working at standing desks. Seven of the men, mostly posed at the back and right of the picture, appear to be very young. There are large filing cabinets at the back of the room and a long counter at left, with more filing cabinets behind it. There is a day calendar at right open to “June, 8, Saturday.” The number “108” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “13” has been written in the upper left corner.
