Title

[Four Men in Two Boats on Bank of Waterway]

Creator

Hoffman, Peter B.

Description

There are two small boats along the banks of a large waterway, possible the Mississippi River. Albert Hoffmann and Peter B. Hoffmann are sitting in a boat, looking at the photographer. Both men are wearing darker colored suits with derby style hats. The boat they are sitting in is half in the water and half on the shore. Albert is sitting in the middle of the boat and Peter is sitting on the back of the boat. The second boat, to their left, and the photograph's right, is Edward Hoffmann standing on the edge of the boat and pushing off of the shore with an oar of the boat. An unknown man is sitting behind him on the edge of the boat. This boat is mostly in the water, with just the edge of the boat over the bank. There are pieces of wood scattered on the shore. Far behind them is the shore along the river covered with trees.
