[Four Men Sit on Dead Tree Extending Over Water]

Emil Youngblood, Albert Hoffmann, Peter B. Hoffmann Sr., and Edward Hoffmann sit on a dead tree that extends from the bank of a waterway, probably the Mississippi River. The tree extends from the left side of the photographs and continues to the right side. There are leafless trees behind the men and along the shore of the river. Pieces of drift wood sit under the dead tree where the men sit. All of the men are wearing suits and hats, and none of them are looking at the photographer. Across the river, behind the men, a tree covered shoreline can be seen in the distance.
