Santa Claus, Sleeping Child and Poem

Title

Santa Claus, Sleeping Child and Poem

Description

Santa Claus peaks into the window of a sleeping child's room. The child is asleep underneath white covers and wears a white sleeping cap; the bedframe is wooden and the wallpaper has pastel flowers on it. The poem printed across the bedspread reads: "Do you sup- / pose that it's because / St. Nick is too considerate / To spoil your rest, that he will pause / Before he climbs your roof, peep, / To see if you are fast asleep?"
