Santa Claus in his coat but without a hat is in his workshop, painting the face of a doll. There are other toys on the table, including a ball and drum, and hanging on the wall behind him are a horse and jester. There is a poem printed in the upper left: "There's nothing Santa / more enjoys / Than making toys for / girls and boys. / And in his way he's / wondrous wise, / For he knows just / what'll please / your eyes."
