[A Man and a woman in a Dubuque Fire and Marine Insurance Company office in the Bank & Insurance Building]

A woman sits at a desk in the foreground at left and a man stands at a desk in the background at right in this office at the Dubuque Fire & Marine Insurance Company, rooms 710 to 715 in the B & I Building. There is a telephone and a typewriter on the desk next to the woman. Behind her, along the back wall of the office, is a second typewriter on a typing desk and an adding machine on a stand. Painted on the office window, so that it can be read from outside, is: “Dubuque Fire & Marine Insurance.” There is a June, 1912 calendar pinned to the window sill on the back wall. The number “115” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “1” has been written in the upper left corner.
