An errand boy, dressed in a long-sleeved white shirt, tie and dark pants, is standing next to a pillar in an office. Two women and a man are standing on a low platform, working at a long, elevated work table. The man is making entries in a large ledger. Two calculating machines on rolling carts are visible. A woman is seated at one of the machines while another woman and a man are working at desks near the carts. A day calendar for “June 1912, Monday, 3, The Sixth Month,” is attached to a wall near the elevated work table. The number “71” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. No number is written in the upper left corner.
