            Description
A man is seated beside a large desk. A telephone, papers and several stamps are on the desk. Attached to the upper frame of the desk is a day calendar for "MON 10 JUN" advertising “Coates & Robinson Insurance and Surety Bonds Dubuque, Iowa.” Two large wood, glass and metal cases may be seen along a wall near a doorway. A sign, visible under the glass-enclosed, vertical back of the machine reads “The McCaskey, Alliance, Ohio.” A card filing system consisting of several rows of narrow metal files may be seen under each machine’s glass cover. Electric light bulbs hang over the machines. The number “78” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. No number is written in the upper left corner.
