[Asbury Methodist Episcopal Church plow float in a 1926 Union Sunday School parade in Dubuque, Iowa]

A boy, dressed in dark coveralls and wide brimmed hat, is standing behind the handles of a plow that has been mounted on the back of an open touring car. The car is wrapped in white sheeting. A sign above the driver reads “Asbury M. E. Sunday School.” Another partially visible sign reading “…Plowth…Plow in Hope.” has been attached to the side of the float.” A policeman is directing the float as it negotiates a street corner. A store window behind parade onlookers contains a sign that reads “…2 Bags 5¢ .”
