A brick church with a limestone foundation is shown in this image, Snow covers the ground. Four concrete steps lead up to an arched, wooden door. A short, white wooden steeple topped with ornate lightning rods tops the building. The photographer’s notes indicate that this structure was located “four miles west of Dubuque, Iowa.” He identified the structure as being located in “Asbury.” The number 1280 is written on a label that has been stuck to the lower left corner of the slide.
