A large group of men at a picnic. To the right is a smaller group of men standing at a table with bowls and containers on it. There is a tarp above the men and above the table. The tarp is held up by strings. with one extending down to the ground, and another extending upwards to the left and tied up a tree, where there is a ladder leading up against. To the left and behind the tree are men sitting at many tables, who appear to be eating and talking to one another. All of the men are wearing lighter colored shirts and darker pants. Most are also wearing hats. In the middle of the photograph is one man standing, looking at the photographer, pointing with his left hand at the photographer, and his right and is touching a dog. The dog is sitting on a log/stump. There is another man to the left of the photograph that is also looking at the photographer, with his hands on his hips. The area of the tables is mostly under the shade of the trees.
