A group of children are in the water standing, while a group of adults are on the beach. One man, or boy, is sitting on a wooden post. There is a white dog walking behind him. A woman is seen behind him also, sitting on the sand, with her feet in the water. There is a group of women and young girls in white dresses and umbrellas standing behind the woman on the beach. There is a boat in the water to the right with a roof over it. The water is shallow for a ways out because three boys are seen standing in the distance in the water. The shore on the other side of the river is visible with trees.
