Public Beach at Eagle Point (1)
Title
Public Beach at Eagle Point (1)
Creator
Hoffman, Peter B.
Description
A public beach at Eagle Point Park. There are children in the Mississippi River on the right side of the photograph wearing black or dark swim suits. In the center of the photograph is a wooden "corral" that starts on the sandy beach and extends into the water. There is a woman in a light colored dress and ark hat sitting on the edge of the corral on the sand and other men, women, and children leaning up against the wooden beams. Behind the corral in the distance is a tall platform with a ladder where a group of young kids stand on top. On the left of the corral are people standing on the beach wearing swim suits and nicer clothing. A bridge stands in the distance behind everything that connects Wisconsin to Iowa, and trees along the Wisconsin bank can be seen.
