[Emil Youngblood in Field in Front of Small House]
Title
[Emil Youngblood in Field in Front of Small House]
Creator
Hoffman, Peter B.
Description
Emil Youngblood stands in the center of the photograph towards the foreground, in an area of overgrown grass and shrubbery. There is a small house behind him, made of brick and wood. There is an archway behind Youngblood and the house made of tree limbs or trunks with the bark still on. A woman is to the left of the photograph walking away from the photographer. She has dark hair that is pulled up and is wearing a dress with an apron tied around her back. She is walking with a young girl who is holding onto the woman's left hand. The young girl is wearing a light colored dress with a dark bow tie at her back. The woman and the young girl are walking on a narrow path of dirt or possibly sand. There are three young boys walking ahead of the girl and woman. The boys are all wearing dark suits with derby styles hats on their heads. There appears to be an open area to the left of the group and photograph and trees surrounding the house. Where the woman and young children are walking, the photograph is a lighter color from the sunshine.
