Description
Three women, two men and one dog are looking at the camera in this interior view of a wig makers shop. The women are seated at desks. A woman in the left foreground of the photograph is holding a long length of dark colored hair. Additional piles of hair are visible on her desk, as well as on the desk of a woman seated on the right side of the small room. A coal stove is partially visible in the right foreground. One man, dressed in shirt, tie and slacks, is leaning on a table in the rear of the space. Another man is seated on a stool next to him. A collie dog is sitting in front of the seated man. The number “235” has been written on the emulsion side of the negative and is visible in the upper right corner of the picture. The number “2” has been written in the upper left corner.
