THE IMMACULATE HEART TRIO

One of the most fascinating musical guests to visit Loras in the 1950s was the Immaculate Heart Trio, a group of Catholic sisters from the Immaculate Heart order who performed on the piano, cello, and violin. The group performed at Loras sometime between 1957 and 1958.

THE SISTERS OF ST. FRANICS OF THE HOLY FAMILY

In 1953, the Sisters of St. Francis of the Holy Family celebrated the 75 year anniversary of their presence on the Loras College campus. These sisters lived in St. Francis Hall and completed the laundry, mending, and baking for the entire campus.
