Library

The library is always integral to student and academic life on a college campus. At Loras in the 1950s, the campus library (located in Keane Hall) featured a large reference collection, a vast card catalog, and a microfilm reader for student and faculty use. To accommodate the growth of campus and the library’s growing collection, construction began on the new Wahlert Memorial Library in the fall of 1959.
